How to Study a Large PDF Before an Exam (100+ Pages)

· 6 min

A 150-page PDF is not one study session. Treat it as modules: introduction, core theory, case studies, appendices. Your practice tool should respect that structure.

Build a manual index first

In Interrogo you can paste or generate an index summary (chapter titles + page ranges). That steers oral questions toward the sections your professor emphasized.

Three-pass method

  1. Pass 1: Skim + one quiz to find blind spots.
  2. Pass 2: Flashcards on weak chapters only.
  3. Pass 3: Full oral simulation with follow-up questions.

Avoid partial extraction tools

If flashcards only cover the first 20 pages, you are statistically under-prepared. Verify how many characters or pages were extracted before trusting generated content.
